Officially Founded

Officially partnered with Revvo Technologies, a Silicon Valley A.I. startup focused on tire sustainability and optimization through their state-of-the-art A.I. sensor.

December, 2023

Conducted a local survey with over 100+ participants to obtain meaningful data on local awareness surrounding tire pollution and sustainability efforts.

June, 2024

The Traction Initiative officially began conducting corporate interviews to better understand industry trends towards tire pollution as well as corporate sustainability efforts.

August, 2024

Traction Initiative helped volunteer at Barbecue hosted by Harjit Sajjan, The Minister of Emergency Preparedness

September, 2024

Expanded various departments with new members in research, operations and outreach.

Visited Sunset Park rain garden.


July, 2024

Officially partnered with The City of Vancouver through our application to the Seeding Stewardship Program, receiving $2000 in funding and stewards to the Rain Garden located at Sunset Park, Vancouver.

September, 2024

Organized and ran distribution partnered with Gogivers, helped hand out food and water to people in need.

September, 2024

First successful workshop at Vancouver College. Educated class of 30 students with a variety of activities, including making mini-rain gardens for each student.
